Gateshead Foodbank relies on your goodwill and support.
All of the food distributed by Gateshead Foodbank is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious supply of food with up to 7 days worth of food .
Our shopping list on the right shows the food items that we need right now.
If you’re short of time you can also use two options to donate food via the internet:
Download the APP. Once you have followed your local food bank, the app will send you a helpful ‘ping’ with a reminder of your food banks’ needs when you are shopping in your local supermarket.
We are also delighted to receive all types of toiletries including: sanitary products, shampoo, shower gel, deodorant, toothpaste and Cat/Dog food.
