WHERE: Asda Metrocentre
Supermarket Collection Day.
Gateshead foodbank is heading to the supermarket, and we need a team of friendly volunteer faces to help us make it a success. Whether you’re a great talker or happy to help with the heavy lifting, there’s a spot for you!
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
The “Chatters”
Talk to the public, spread the word about our mission, and hand out “shopping lists” of the items we need most.
The “Movers & Shakers”
Help with the manual handling and sorting of food donations as they come in.
The “Ambassadors”
Help us say a massive THANK YOU to our amazing community for their ongoing support
WHY IT MATTERS
We can’t do this without you. Every hour you give helps put food on a local family’s table. Together, we can tackle hunger in our community.
