Dear Friends and Supporters,
Welcome to our first newsletter of the year. January 2026 Edition
As we step into a new year, this edition is a moment to pause, to reflect on where we have been, and to look ahead with hope and purpose. January can often feel long, wet, and dark, but we are already beginning to see the promise of longer, brighter days ahead.
We want to begin with heartfelt thanks. December was an incredibly busy month for the food bank, and it was only possible because of your generosity, kindness, and unwavering support. Whether you donated food, gave financially, volunteered your time, prayed for our work, or encouraged us in quiet ways, please know that every act of support made a real difference to individuals and families in our community. We are deeply grateful.
This newsletter is being read because of you and we would love your help in sharing it. Please feel free to pass it on to family members, friends, colleagues, or team members who may be interested in our work. The more people who are connected, the stronger our community becomes. We also warmly invite you to connect with us on our social media platforms, where we share updates, stories, and opportunities to get involved.
As we look ahead to our next edition, we are always delighted to hear from you. If you have an article, reflection, story, or idea you would like to share, we would truly welcome it. This is a space shaped by community voices.
Guided by our values and love for our neighbour, we move forward together, thankful for what has been, and hopeful for what is to come.
Thank you once again for walking alongside us.
Your support continues to bring light and hope, even in the darkest seasons.
