Over then last four weeks demand for our service has increased like never before. Traditionally our warehouse was only open on a Monday & Tuesday afternoon and then again on a Tuesday evening but during the last month things have had to change as we help respond to the current crisis.
Our warehouse has been open five days a week (Monday to Friday) for the last four weeks and between Monday 30th March and Friday 24th April our incredible volunteers have stepped up and risen to the challenge, making us so proud and grateful.
They have respected social distancing and worked harder than ever to help and support people across Gateshead that are in financial crisis. Our dedicated team of volunteers have given up over 350 hours of their own time and without them we simply could not continue to function.
