We are hiring – Foodbank Project Manager

We are seeking a full time Foodbank Project Manager to support and develop our foodbank network across Gateshead. We have operated for the last 8 years with a strong team of volunteers providing emergency food and support to Gateshead residents in financial crisis. It is an exciting and challenging opportunity to be involved in shaping the future of emergency food provision and support in Gateshead and to work alongside other organisations within Gateshead.

Gateshead Foodbank uses the Trussell Trust operating model and is part of the national foodbank network. The project has a Christian ethos and we welcome applications from people who are sympathetic to Christian values and principles: we do not discriminate on religious grounds.

The post is based in Gateshead and will involve regular travel around Gateshead. A driving licence and access to a car will be essential. Degree qualification desirable or equivalent qualifications/skills and experience would be considered.
